The gallery is a unique, contemporary art space situated at the heart of the clinical setting, believed to be the first of its kind in Wales.

The current exhibition is part of the NHS’ 70th Birthday celebrations. It includes a number of artists including a recent ‘The Moth TalkCPR Art in Medicine Project‘.

Dr Mark Taubert

“Being part of this NHS 70 exhibition and displaying DNACPR videos to members of the general public is quite a privilege. I don’t think I would have believed you if you had suggested to me a few years ago that we would be able to do this, but there is such a big need to bring closer to everyone how important it is to put some thought on all our views regarding how much or how little medicine should do to us, when we lose our ability to communicate. Art can help us get a better idea.” – Dr Mark Taubert

The exhibition will remain open for another two weeks. It is free to visit, the hospital provides free parking and open between 10am-5pm each day. To view a map of where the hospital is located click here.
